Could

We could walk for hours, and stop by when our feet are complaining. Or hop in between public transportation. Too bad the one in my city isn’t functioning well.

We could join a lot of workshops. I looooove workshops. I’m a rather procrastinator but if I paid to do something, I’ll try to make the most out of it. I love making something, although I’m not always good at it.

We could roam around and discover hidden restaurants, which I’m not good at. So I’m relying on Google Reviews and words of mouth all the time. I’m also a rather picky eater, so I’m usually hesitant to try something new. But if the food turned out to be good, it became my instant favorite.

We could walk through alleys and discover simple happiness. Such as pretty flowers the neighborhood had planted. Or little kids playing around with their faces powdered in a rush.

We could explore museums and galleries. It’s not really my cup of tea, really, to pretend you care about arts and stuffs. Especially if you found something questionable labeled as “art”. But hey, it’s nice to find something new and knowledgeable.

We could play in an amusement park. Gosh I love them, particularly when I have lots of things in my mind. Especially fast rides. Not a fan of the height ones, though.

We could watch movies in cinemas. After the pandemic, I developed a new routine of watching movies in cinemas. Indeed, some movies leave stronger impression when you watched it in big screen. OTT is fine as well. No horrors, superheroes, or gores though!

We could visit a quiet cafe and do our thing together, or separately. Maybe read our own books. Or racing through our own deadlines.

Or we could climb a big tree and talk. It’s been years since I climbed one. People have been saying girls shouldn’t climb a tree. Not to mention the insects. But screw it all, I love being up in a tree. Too bad I can’t display the affection publicly, especially since people would bring up my reserved image.
